He is an industry veteran with over 18 years of UAE experience and is widely recognized as a pioneer in the Event and Entertainment education industry. He established the global institution EMDI in 2002 and in 2009 was appointed Managing Director of Greycells Education Ltd ( a listed company on the India Stock Exchange) managing 5 other education brands, leading teams with 80 staff, servicing 1500 students annually and established and supported 12 different franchises. Nowshir is currently the CEO of SM Productions & Events, a boutique agency based in Dubai offering unique and impactful solutions in events, branding strategy and marketing communication. SM blends creative experiences with technological engineering mixing workmanship with science. With a portfolio spanning projects for Government entities, Retail and Corporates; the team at SM works closely with entities such as DEWA, RTA, DCT Abu Dhabi, Burjuman, Reef, Oasis Mall and an extensive list of corporates and agencies. Prior to joining SM - Nowshir served on the leadership team of LINKVIVA as Director of Partnerships & Special Projects. He worked closely with the creative and pitch team to ensure projects are won, and then works hand in hand with the production and operation team to ensure excellence is delivered. His most recent projects include winning Mother of the Nation, Dubai Fitness Challenge, Expo National Day, Nakheel Mall Launch, DFC Pirates of the Bay amongst other projects. He managed a multi million dhs portfolio with clients across the Government, Mall, Retail and FMCG sectors.Nowshir was also the founder of www.eventfaqs.com and was the Vice President Education of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) Middle East Chapter and since 2008 serves as the longest standing Judge for the Middle East Event Awards.
