Within the Provincial Child Welfare system, I was a Practice Consultant designing and facilitating Collaborative Decision Making Meetings. My passion for training and conflict management led me to design and facilitate workshops for business organizations, sports associations and not-for-profits to address individual and group conflict. I am an associate trainer with the Forensic Practice where I train Social Workers and Law Enforcement professionals in complaints management and investigative Interviewing. My specializations include conflict management, facilitation, consultation and course instruction. I am an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia's School of Social Work where I teach social workers about to enter the field in a variety of sectors.My approach is grounded in strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally agile practices.
