My name is Kim Noxon.  I have been working as an educator for over 20 years, and I am thrilled to be working with students, focusing on improving reading skills and teaching reading strategies.  My passion is to read to children, read with children and help children to discover the magic that lies within the cover of each book!I am a certified Special Education Teacher. I help children develop skills necessary to be proficient readers. We work with Orton Gillingham methodologies to build a solid foundation that allows for automatic decoding and encoding, increases reading comprehension and fluency and improves vocabulary and understanding of morphology.I can help with letters / sounds, decoding, fluency and comprehension.I work with students PreK through 8th grade.Flexible class sizes and differentiated instruction in several settings including 1:1, small groups, face to face and online.
