1. Requirements specification-Undertake and document feasibility studies.-Perform necessary research.-Gather and document business requirements.-Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with the client.-Document requirements clearly and concisely.-Maintain a holistic view of project objectives when gathering and documenting requirements.-Keep track of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.-Facilitate prioritisation sessions with the client.-Log and monitor risks2.Functional Specification / dimensional modelling-Analyse and document functional specifications.-Analyse complex operational, business and technical requirements leading to specification and design of systems (both bespoke and package).-Facilitate JAD sessions with developers and DBAs.-Ensure work is properly handed over for the next phase to the developer / DBA.-Employ analytical, innovative and re-engineering skills to design optimal solution for client with holistic view in mind.-Communicate withteam members when activities overlap3.Test specifications, testing-Perform testing.-Contribute to / compile testing strategies, test plans, test packs and test cases.-Perform IAT, UAT and performance testing.-Investigate productions systems problems, recommend solutions4.Change Management-Perform training.-Contribute to / develop training strategies and training material, e.g. manuals, CDs, quick guides, etc.-Perform Close out activities.-Ensure all tasks are documented and saved on server and properly archived.-Participate in and contribute to various change management activities throughout the lifecycle of the project.-Participate in / prepare communications (using various mediums, e.g. emails, presentations, newsletters, etc.).-Handhold and provide Journey Management aspect of Change Management for clients from the Requirements gathering phase until post implementation.
