As a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), I recently graduated from Austin Medical Assisting Training, where I learned the essential skills and knowledge to provide quality patient care in various settings. I have experience working as a Medical Assistant at DocCare NY, where I assisted with multiple specialties, including cardiology, dermatology, neurology, orthopedics, and gastroenterology. I performed tasks such as taking patient histories, getting chief complaints, assisting with stress testing, placing and educating on MCT use, using the EHR system Criterion, and preparing, collecting, and packing specimens for diagnostic testing. I also helped with colonoscopies and endoscopies, both in the procedure room and in recovery. I have refined communication skills, collaboration with a healthcare team, working efficiently in a high-stress environment, and effectively working with doctors. I endeavor to bring compassionate care to the patient with their best interests in mind. I am looking forward to having an opportunity to work as a Medical Assistant and further develop my domain expertise and skills.
