I am serving on the ESG Initiative team to conduct research and develop frameworks for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration, engagement and advocacy. Specifically, I am focusing on governance framework for sovereign investments.

In this role, I achieved the following:- Oversaw and managed a team of 5-10 analysts across geographies to support client deliverables related to ESG regulatory reporting and compliance (CSRD, EUDR, EU Taxonomy), and responses to RFI and RFP related to ESG Data Governance Models - Conducted and reviewed ESG due diligence of companies and financial institutions across sectors and North American geography by leverage industry frameworks such as ISSB, IR, and SASB- Oversaw client led efforts to engage with financial institutions to integrate material sustainability-related factors into business decision-making processes and covered the private equity and sustainable bonds market to help end clients advance their diverse investment portfolios.- Delivered training on sustainability and climate change to board of directors of a manufacturing company- Served as the lead consultant for projects related to EUDR and EU Taxonomy Disclosure and Compliance with a global retailer and manufacturer - Conducted GHG inventory analysis and emissions measurement for IT-related emissions for a major US-based utility company - Served as a Leader with Purpose (LwP) to help TCS integrate the signature goIT STEM program in schools

Silver Regulatory Associates designs, maintains and assesses compliance programs for investment firms, including private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, crypto/digital assets and broker-dealer firms.

CSRHub provides access to corporate social responsibility and sustainability ratings and information to managers, researchers and activists to benchmark company performance, learn how stakeholders evaluate company CSR practices and seek ways to change the world.My role was to help new clients, across the United State, Europe, Asia and Latin America, understand the ESG application offering and the potential uses of the application. I also reported data and client feedback for continuous improvement.

Trivedi-Capacity Associates, LLC is a provider of specialty programs focused on commercial risks, particularly in the hotel and Community Association space.In this role, I contributed to the development and maintenance of long-term relationships with a portfolio of real-estate properties across the United States through superior price delivery and coverage, in addition to, providing analysis and coverage recommendations to senior manager based on due diligence, risk-assessment tools and other social factors. I also led the revenue collection efforts for the company which totaled to $100K per month

DEF finds sustainable digital interventions to overcome information poverty in rural and remote locations of India, and empower communities with digital literacy, digital tools and last mile connectivity. In this role, I worked on two projects: European Union and Association for Progressive Communications funded Internet Rights and UNICEF funded “Mobile For Social and Behavioral Change” initiative.For the Internet Rights project, I led country-wide research on the Freedom of Speech online and offline in India, specifically for rural India. Our team found that increased and fair access to internet and digital tools are the prerequisites for communities to be able to exercise their human rights online. I led human rights training on Freedom of Expression online and offline in four states: Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. In the process, I advocated for increased access to digital connectivity and tools in rural India so that communities can work collectively to solve some of their pressing human development challenges (i.e. education, livelihoods, health, and environment). For the MSBC Initiative, I had the opportunity to travel in Northwest India to conduct consultation on how internet connectivity and digital tools are impacting communities outcomes in the areas of health, education, environment, agriculture, and human rights.

UNGC is aplatform that convenes stakeholders to incorporate sustainability practices and universally accepted principles around Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-CorruptionAs a United Nations Volunteer for the Global Compact Network India, I worked with members to develop and build capacity to grow effective cross-sector partnerships in alignment with the Ten Universally Accepted Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.In this short-term role, I conducted consultation around sustainability and partnership development among members in India and briefed the local network on sustainability, impact investing and Environemntal, Social and Governance metrics.

Responsible Banking unit within YES BANK works to embed sustainability into core business strategy and practices and offer innovative financial products and services linked to sustainable development of the country.In this role, I gained insights into how corporate institutions weave sustainability into business to derive profits and fulfill their social responsibility towards people and planet. I had the opportunity to manage CSR and employee management programs; engage internal and external stakeholders around sustainability and ESG metrics in the financial services industry; conduct due diligence of NGOs and civil society; and contribute to thought leadership, communications and branding, and GRI-based sustainability reporting.

I served as Teaching Assistant to Professor Kevin Kolben who led a delegation of 20 students for MBA course titled, “India: Business, Development and Global Supply Chain.” Our objective was to understand business, development and supply chain by interacting with the US Embassy in New Delhi; visiting communities affected by child and human trafficking; and engaging in discussions with private-sector institutions about solutions developed to solve development challenges in the most efficient, ethical and responsible ways. For example, our site visit to MokshaYug Access, a rural supply chain solutions company, gave insights and learning around how how supply chain solutions, in the agriculture and dairy sector, can be developed in an ethical, responsible and environment friendly manner. Our discussion with YES BANK helped us understand how financial institutions approach sustainability and innovation--to meet developmental challenges. (i.e. Microfinance, livelihoods, women's empowerment)This trip provided insight into barriers affecting India's development, but also, how communities function in a vibrant and positive manner.

Placed with HASC, a faith-based organization founded by a member of President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships with a mission is to advance inter-faith service to address sustainable development issues at the local level.In this role, I learned how to produce optimal benefits and results for the host organization, communities and individuals with limited resources. I successfully managed budgets and timelines, built capacity of the organization and developed public-private partnerships for long-term sustainability and impact in the areas of health, education and environment. More than 500 people in the low-income and refugee communities benefited from yoga and nutrition sessions, reading, writing and positive life-skills among low-income and refugee communities. On the environment front, I forged partnership with The Bhumi Project at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies for the Dharmic institutions to adopt a greener and sustainable approach to worship and spirituality. As a result, five institutions of worship committed to building solar panels at their locations for sourcing energy and adopted a waste-free approach to “pooja” or worship.

Working with the legislative branch of the US government, I came to understand how the congressional process works and the interplay between the three branches of the government. I had the opportunity to draft memorandums for the elected official, Congressman Donald Payne on range of issues like US foreign policy, bilateral and multilateral relations and global health. I realized the value of information and credible sources. Watching senior staff engage with stakeholders, I learned how to prepare for and conduct myself in meetings. I completed the Stennis Center Program and organized a screening of a short film titled, “Kavi” concerning bonded labor in India and a briefing on the impact climate change on agriculture.

Conducted legal research and reviewed international agreements, based on treaty law, and general practices of member states. Summarized policy briefings on regional affairs, economic development, human rights, terrorism, international law and global health.Analyzed news briefings and reports on disarmament and Iran and North Korea’s nuclear program. Developed a database of UN agency and NGO focused on nuclear issues.
