I have worked in the financial industry for 7 and half years. In those years, I held positions such as Financial Advisor, Home Financial Advisor, Senior Personal Banking Officer, and Mortgage Specialist. While I love what I do, I felt the wind of change approaching so I started to explored my career options in tech sales. In my search to get a job in tech, I invested on myself and sign up for The3Skills in hopes of landing a position in tech as a Customer Success Manager, Account Executive or SDR. I also did a quick course on B2B Sales Strategy to help my afford. As well as invest in Bluebird to help me get technical skills in tech sales CRM.I am still very passionate about finance and educating my South Sudanese community the importances of financial literacy. So they can make informed decisions about their personal finance. That's why I am still continuing my pursuit to get my CFP as well as continuing my education in the financial industry for more knowledge and growth. If any career opportunities should come up in the financial industry, I am willing to discuss the opportunity to see if it's aligned with my career goals and aspirations. While I am still open to any career opportunities in finance, I am still looking to explore my career options and opportunities in tech. My transferable skills from my financial background will serve as an asset in my venture into the tech world of Customer Success Manager, Account Executive, or SDR. As I can easily adapt in a fast-paced environment, I am a quick learner, teachable, coachable, and team player, as well as can work independently, reliable, and a people person.
