About Nick Pandža, Ph.D.

Associate Research Scientist and Behavioral Statistics Consultant in the intersection of the fields of data science, cognitive psychology and neuroscience, and applied linguistics. My research covers multiple diverse fields, but at its core it follows a singular goal: I’m a behavioral data scientist devoted to the investigation of human individual differences. I want to know which factors index particular cognitive states in order to evaluate human performance, discover which sorts of aptitude and experience may advantage someone for a particular sociotechnical context, and investigate how we can overcome inherent disadvantages with instructional or even brain stimulation interventions. I pursue these aims with advanced analytical techniques suited to these complex problem sets.As a client-focused Statistics Consultant, I have helped researchers across various institutions with their data analysis needs, and my work has contributed to many peer-reviewed publications in high tier journals for those clients.I have led and contributed to a great number of diverse projects, and been afforded the opportunity to spearhead experimental design and data analysis for a variety of clients, data types, and objectives. I have produced scientifically rigorous and reliable results as part of many collaborative teams.Specialties: psychometrics, non-invasive brain stimulation, applied linguistics, research & analysis, R, mixed-effects modeling, generalized additive mixed modeling
