I am in my last semester as a progressive-degree student studying mechanical engineering at the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California. I will graduate with my M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in December 2024. I have 2 summers of experience in the Space & Defense industry and 1 summer of experience in the Autonomous Automobile Industry. I am seeking a full-time position in either mechanical design engineering or controls/simulation engineering that would start after December 2024.I have 2 years of experience in mechanical design where I have employed skills I have learned through my rigorous coursework. At Northrop Grumman, I worked in the Structures Design, Analysis, and Integration department as both a Mechanical Design and Mechanical Design Integration Engineer. I also served as one of the design engineers on my Senior Design team where we were awarded for Outstanding Ingenuity and Performance and published a paper with AIAA. Coursework I have taken includes Mechanical Design, Engineering Design Theory and Methodology, and Engineering Vibrations.I have 1 year in of experience in controls where I have employed skills I have learned through my rigorous coursework. I also served one of the electromechanical engineers on my senior design team where we designed and implemented a controller for an active suspension system traversing over a non-uniform obstacle. Coursework I have taken includes Linear Controls 1 & 2, Control System Laboratory, Mechatronic Systems, and Robot Dynamics and Control.
