Purchasing Specialist, American Barbell LLC 2021 – Present• Review customer orders and worked with various internal warehouses to source the right parts and equipment tobuild out the order as per customer preferences; place purchasing orders in the system.• Follow policies for the day-to-day operations, including ensuring inventory control for all tools and equipment weremaintained at all times.• Develop and implement effective logistics coordination from start to finish for various job orders; process request, jobassignment, securing of materials, post-job procedures.• Manage daily purchase orders, bill of ladings, receiving of products for clients.• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service; communicate needs/objectives to managers.• Plan and analyze current and past sales data on MRPs (material requirement plan) for the purchase of products in allproduct categories; update all MRPs by category weekly with PO status/deliveries/inventory report numbers.• Create POs for purchasing all products overseas and domestic and send to vendor with detailed shipping instructions.• Update “On Water Report” daily to track movement and delivery of all oversea products on containers/shipments.• Manage special projects of products going out the building for special services (powder coating/printing).• Purchase and order all production/warehouse/office supply as needed for the company.• Report all damaged products directly to over sea’s partner company and request refund or replacements.• Liaise with production supervisor to ensure all components are on order/on water (shipped from overseas partner)/in process for delivery to ensure timely (production)product build to meet customer deadlines.• Work closely with account payable to ensure products are receive correctly against POs for accurate vendor payments.

Coordinate and manage all movement and staging of direct mail products, materials, equipment in and around the production and warehouse area as needed to meet client’s expectations. Schedule the necessary appointment time frames with the appropriate USPS facilities for verification and distribution of direct mail. Manage all inbound and outbound shipments in the most cost efficient manner to meet customer’s in-home delivery dates by consolidating shipments and load planning. Negotiate transportation/equipment/production supply rates with vendors to reduce expenditure and increase profitability. Reconcile expenses (supplies/freight cost) to the job level. Manage USPS relationships in order to quickly resolve any issue that may arise and cause delay in meeting client’s in-home dates. Keep up to date on USPS regulations and facility changes. Direct and schedule material handler’s , weight controller’s, and warehousing staff daily as needed to meet production floor demand. Manage the warehousing and reporting of all inventories.
