The end goal is to become a Veterinarian. There's a current issue going on in the veterinary field, where there's a language barrier between veterinary professionals and Spanish-speaking clients and I want to contribute to fixing this issue. Although I enjoy caring for animals, I also want to make sure clients get all the information they need about veterinary medicine and that's impossible for Spanish-speaking clients if they have no one in the field who speak their language. As a bilingual individual, I want to be someone in the veterinary field that the Hispanic / Latinx community can come too and feel confident when talking about their pet needs and know they're getting the best service possible, not only for their pets but for them as well.
