I grew up in restaurants - becoming more and more engrained in the technology built and the technology needed in a rapidly changing ecosystem. Product by trade, I lead a team that is focused on the in-store technology portfolio inclusive of the POS, the Kitchen Management Systems, Payments, Digital Signage, Drive-Thru Technology, Digital Ordering, and Network Infrastructure. My team is split into three disciplines: Support Services, Technical Product Management, and Systems Development. We support all aspects of technology for the growing Zaxbys restaurant portfolio - 1000 locations in over 19 states. Previously, I led the Digital Off Premise business unit at Zaxbys and previous to that I worked at Grubhub on the Technical Brand team, focused on a portfolio of brands in different verticals on their loyalty engagement, app development, and digital ordering businesses. My teams touch virtually every part of the Zaxbys business and are committed to delivering a mature, agile, and consultative Technology experience for every location. Our big rocks for 2025 are going to be all about: data-driven Digital Menu Board strategy, new ordering channels/platforms to extend our Digital reach, and upskilling our Support Services organization to support more complex environments and the need for Field Operations Support.
