EMS Chief for a progressive, fast growing, suburban fire department. Responsible for oversight of the delivery of emergency medical care via first response units and transport units. The scope of my job provides ample opportunities to challenge myself in support of the men and women that are providing the care. I work closely with citizens, Medical Directors, Fire Chief, County officials, department administration, operations leadership, vendors, hospital partners, the Ga. Office of EMS and Trauma, the Cherokee Fire Training Division, and many other internal and external stakeholders.The position requires nearly constant task prioritization to ensure that problems are solved, goals are achieved, and the EMS operation maintains the department’s very high standard of performance. Using performance data, projections, short term planning, and long term strategic planning guide decision making.
