How to start? Perhaps summarise as 20 years of innovation, strategy, technology, complex delivery, sales and people leadership across both global firms and start-ups.I leverage my unique perspectives from having been a buyer and a supplier as well as running my own product engineering & consulting firm(s) to create value for my customers and employees. I have been rather successful in driving value in most aspects of the technology & operations ecosystem – with Consulting firms (Strategy, Digitisation, Architecture, Analytics, CX, Outsourcing), financial services firms (M&A, Integration, Complex multi-country management - $200M+ P&L), start-ups / product engineering firms (Apps, FinTech, CRM) and with large service providers ($200M+ P&L, 2000+ FTEs) - across North & South America, Europe, Asia and Australasia. I have been responsible for delivering some of the most complex programs - Core banking roll out for a global Bank, Unsecured lending transformation for a leading A/NZ bank, new retail tech platform for a global life insurer and a new cloud hosted insurance platform for a global commercial insurer.My innate curiosity and ability to learn constantly means I’m always open to new challenges, meeting new people and learning new things - including studying (once again!) at University of Sydney towards a part-time PhD. My global education & experience, the privilege of being elected President of a fantastic industry association has enabled me to appreciate geo-political challenges and cultural nuances better than most.I enjoy learning about new technologies & digital strategies and their disruptive effect on business models - my present research subject at Sydney University. My friends and colleagues have given me an opportunity to learn constantly - resulting in over 40 published thought papers, recognition as the Australian IT Professional of the year 2012-13 by a leading independent consortium & as an industry thought leader at IQPC-SSON 2011. I am privileged to serve on the Board of my Engineering School Global Alumni (IIT-Varanasi) and earlier on the Board of Australia-India Business Council (AIBC) and as the President, AIBC- NSW; Chair ICT Chapter, AIBC; and on the Regional advisory board at IAOP.I survived getting educated at three world-leading universities – Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi; University of Chicago - Booth School of Business and IE Business School, Madrid. I have also trained on INSEAD's Blue Ocean Strategy, Six Hats & Goldratt's TOC and several Project / Program Methodologies.
