I am passionate about public service, community engagement, relationship building, team member development, leadership, and diversity. I have over 17 years in financial services, just began a career in local government, and I love northern Colorado!As a Colorado State University student, I was very active on campus. I served in student government (Associated Students of CSU) as a College of Liberal Arts Senator, Assistant Director of Public Relations, and Director of Marketing. I was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, Gamma Beta chapter, and served as the Philanthropy Chairperson, Secretary, and Vice President.My career in retail financial services began as a Teller with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in 2006. I was promoted to Lead Teller and began assisting with new employee training, branch operations management, and customer experience oversight. I consistently ranked in the top of our district for sales. The next step in my journey was with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. In 2008 as a Sales and Service Associate. I then obtained investment licensing and achieved exceeding expectations ratings as a Personal Banker. I later became an Assistant Branch Manager overseeing a team of Tellers. My time at Chase provided valuable experience and I became proficient in communications, relationship building, profiling and needs-based sales, and creating a professional, goal-oriented, collaborative work environment.In 2014, I joined the credit union movement as a Member Services Supervisor at the Fort Collins branch of Credit Union of Colorado, A Federal Credit Union. I was primarily responsible for employee development and branch oversight. It was an amazing work environment with a great team, and the focus on the member experience aligned with my personal values. I worked with some amazing leaders and the growth and development I experienced during my tenure with CUofCO was outstanding.Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Cheyenne, WY, gave me the opportunity in 2020 as Vice President Branch Manager to oversee their Wellington, CO branch. It was an honor to open the branch as the organization expanded into the Colorado market. In July 2022, began attending Western CUNA Management School as a member of the Phi class graduating in 2024. I earned honors on years 1 and 2 exams, and high honors on the first project. I was voted Phi class president for year 3. 2022 was a momentous year, as I was humbled to be selected for Northern Colorado’s 40 Under Forty and awarded the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce’s Above and Beyond Award.
