I have spent my career in roles that require a diverse and strong set of critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills. I initially went to school and worked as an ASCP board certified Medical Laboratory Scientist in which I was performing diagnostic clinical assays in a fast paced and demanding hospital setting. After realizing my passion and skill for identifying ways to improve workplace processes and efficiency through the use of data, I returned to school to obtain a Master's degree in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. As a Data Analytics Consultant, I am proficient in SQL and Python. I have extensive experience in performing ad hoc queries on large datasets and developing documentation for data mining and exploratory analysis. During my Master's program I spent much of my time studying and developing forecasting and predictive business models using time series analysis, seasonality, linear optimization, and regression analysis. Professionally, I have become adept in data analysis, eliciting business requirements for client work, documenting data governance, creating data flow diagrams, and data modeling using various tools including Lucidchart, Draw.io, and Visio. I am skilled in creating slide decks, workbooks, and other documentation to present my work and findings to various levels of stakeholders on a project. Most recently, I have joined the Business Intelligence practice at Concord and am gaining expertise in Tableau and Qlik Sense for data visualization as well as writing data ingestion pipelines with SQL and Python.
