I am a research assistant at the Development Economics Research Group (DERG) based at the University of Copenhagen. Based primarily in Nairobi, I conduct research on domestic revenue mobilization, taxpayer behavior, and development work in Kenya. This is part of a larger research and policymaking cooperation between the University of Copenhagen and the Government of Kenya. In 2022, I graduated from the Gonzaga University Honors Program with Bachelor’s degrees in international relations, political science, and Spanish with a minor in entrepreneurial leadership from the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program. After this, I completed my M.Sc. in Global Development at the University of Copenhagen in 2024. As part of the M.Sc., I conducted field research in Northern Kenya where I developed a keen interest in experimental economics and the use of experiments to aid in the creation of peace and development policies. I am especially interested in conducting interdisciplinary research on issues of sustainable development, international trade, and human rights.
