Viridian Group comprised of: Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE), which owned and managed the regional electricity infrastructure and supplied over 750,000 customers; Powerteam, a high voltage electrical infrastructure contracting business; Huntstown Power, which operates two power stations near Dublin; Energia, which supplies electricity and gas to non-domestic customers in the competitive marketplace in Ireland; Open + Direct, a financial services company; Sx3, an IT and business process outsourcing business; and Nevada tele.com, a telecoms and internet company.
