• Focus on improving/implementing processes and controls in the accounting department with a focus on open communication and a directive for continuous improvement to sustain an efficient work environment.• Manage entire month end closing process including: account reconciliations, all general ledger account/transaction analysis, closing/adjusting entries, and revenue recognition analysis.• Complete and distribute annual/monthly financial package, providing detailed explanation of results. • Manage project controls on all active projects. • Assist in preparation of annual operating plan and budgets, including continuous 12 month backlog based financial forecasting.
