This engine is expected to generate millions of dollars in annual savings.- Developed a decomposition algorithm within Java using CPLEX to assign railcars to trains more efficiently.- Created a reporting tool that alerts equipment managers to inefficient routing of trains and suggests remedial actions. This tool solves the shortest path problem iteratively, and is estimated to save six figures annually. -
