In my role as Senior Project Manager Architect at WorldTeams, I lead a team in developing architectural documentation for a prominent client in Richmond, VA. Our client, recognized as one of the "Top 100 Hospitality Giants" by Interior Design Magazine, specializes in architectural and interior design for hospitality projects across the US and Canada. With a portfolio featuring major brands like Marriott/Starwood, IHG, Hyatt, Hilton, as well as independent resorts, boutiques, and historic properties, our client stands at the forefront of excellence and professionalism in the field of hospitality design.Responsibilities:-Serve as a contact point between the client and the WT architectural team in the development of SD, DD, and CD sets, based on the client's architectural and interior designs.-Review the work developed by the WT architectural team to ensure they meet the client's expectations regarding brand standards and quality.-Manage an average of 6 projects simultaneously.-Ensure compliance with deadlines.

As an external PM consultant, I offer strategic planning, risk mitigation, and technical expertise to elevate the efficiency and success of interior design projects. I support client communication and act as a liaison to ensure project alignment with client expectations. Adaptability and continuous improvement drive my approach, providing valuable insights for optimizing project processes.My role extends beyond project completion, actively engaging in future planning to support the company's growth, fostering a commitment to excellence within the interior design firm.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with more than 49 clients (to date) based on trust and results.-Lead a group of 8 designers and follow up on their development through KPIs definition and quarterly assessment.-Manage daily operational aspects of over 52 interior design projects, ranging from residential to hospitality and retail, working on an average of 6 projects simultaneously.-Learn about each client’s needs/industry and values/company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high-quality service.-Determine project milestones and schedule, as well as ensure its proper setup with both the design and construction teams by reviewing schedule, specifications, budget, and contractors.

Work continuity with WorldTeamsAfter four years of incredible success the owners of our company decided to amicably separate. They split the company equally which resulted in one part taking the brand, and the other a bigger part of the company.This is why, WorldTeams will be essentially an extension of everything created in BetterPros with some exciting innovations for the future.

-Managed the design of 7 architectural and 4 urban projects ranging from multifamily buildings to sports centres and urban renovation.-Participated in the design supervision during the construction phase of 2 multifamily buildings with a construction budget of over 10.000 mm COP each and 2 sports centres of 16.000 mm COP each.-Developed 138 construction feasibility studies, 16 of them with a complete building laws and standards report.-Managed external consultants including structural, electrical and plumbing engineers; as well as urbanists, landscape and restoration architects; and HVAC and security experts.

-Assisting in managing the project's outcome and filing construction documentation with competent entities.

Assist Junior Architects in the making of blueprints and documentation.
