Supporting and facilitating cooperation in Interreg

Supporting the implementation and capitalisation of transnational cooperation projects in the Mediterranean area.- Thematic contact point for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy projects, as well as PO for projects on sustainable tourism, social innovation, blue growth...- Programme development, in particular in the implementation of the capitalisation strategy and thematic communities. - Development of call for proposals, assessment and monitoring of project applications.- Development of project guidance and implementation manual, review and update of procedures. - Facilitator and speaker at public events. Interreg MED is a European Territorial Cooperation Programme for the Mediterranean area, financing cooperation projects across 13 countries. The transnational setup allows them to tackle challenges beyond national borders, to jointly develop and adopt policies and technical solutions on key priorities such as a more sustainable tourism, low-carbon economy and energy, the protection of natural and cultural resources and the strengthening of innovation.The main objective of the Interreg MED Programme is to promote sustainable growth in the Mediterranean area by fostering innovative concepts and practices and a reasonable use of resources and by supporting social integration through an integrated and territorially based cooperation approach.

Responsible for the Management and Delivery of Regional, European and International projects, supporting growth within both private and public organisations.- Involvement in bid writing, contract negotiation and project set-up.- Contract mobilisation and client management – ensuring structure is in place to enable smooth and sustainable delivery. - Partner and stakeholder management – building relationships with network members and foster collaboration.- Recruitment and management of project staff and subcontractors – identifying required resources to match delivery objectives. - Financial planning and monitoring – managing project budget, spend and outputs, claims to contractor.- Organisation and delivery of training courses and networking events, incl. content development.- Day-to-day project management – data collection, CRM and monitoring (MI) to ensure targets are achieved; review and management of start-up grants; client, partners and beneficiaries interface; phone/email enquiries.- Business development activities, e.g. proposal writing and partnering to secure funding extension and follow-on projects.

- Main contact point to Pera Research Networks members (universities, research institutes) - Support in the preparation, submission and evaluation of the EC 7th Framework Programme proposals, through participation in proposal workshops and information events, proposal review, partner search, opportunity scanning, call mapping, helpdesk…- Organisation, delivery and follow-up of training sessions and networking events on FP7 themes in various locations in Europe. - Business development activities, e.g. proposal writing and partnering within EU R&D programmes in different countries in Europe.- Creation of a “FP7 Readiness Tool”, matching researchers’ aspirations and capabilities with suitable FP7 programmes.

Support in management of projects under the EU-Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (database, project documentation, assistance in project implementation). Acquired strong knowledge in the EU accession process of Croatia, focus on cooperation programmes and pre-accession funds.

Database/data analysis for the market strategy, follow-up and research on international financial markets.
