Medi-Cal Planning was a new specialty at the Skvarna Law Firm. Therefore, in an effort to qualify our existing elderly clients for Medi-Cal Benefits, I assisted Mr. Skvarna with developing written procedures and describe standard practices for this new specialty. I attended the initial meetings, drafted reports and recommendations, kept client communication, gathered and prepared government applications and supportive forms, as well as maintaining an organized document system. Researched, summarized and reported findings of real estate matters. conducted meetings to execute and notarize legal documents (CA Notary Public expired 2016). I also assisted with directing, training, and assigning clerical and legal personnel in the performance of routine tasks.

Morris, Hall, PLLC is a premiere estate planning law firm in three states of Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. As a Legal Assistant, my role at MH was to retain documentation, draft legal documents, and conduct final meetings with clients to execute and notarize the client’s estate plan. I was also responsible for maintaining the firms continued legal education for both the senior partners and associate attorneys. Additionally, I was tasked to manage an overseas transcription team. In doing so, I made sure dictation was submitted daily and returned within 24 hours. I also reviewed the transcribed dictation for editing. Finally, when needed I was also tasked to train new associates and legal staff with drafting documents from beginning to end. As well as training new administrative staff with clerical duties.
