The urban environment is in constant motion and must provide answers to the 21st-century societal issues we are globally facing, such as urbanisation and climate change. In the past decades, the car has been dominating the urban development, but there is countermovement is on the rise; cities like London and New York are embracing the biking-culture more and more.“First, we shape our cities; then they shape us” argues Danish urban planner Jan Gehl, saying that access to urban facilities changes human behaviour and attitude, but is driven by latent needs. Working with the Bicycle Empowerment Network, I do research and develop stepping stones toward a vision of making Cape Town bicycle capital of Africa by 2030 by focussing and increasing liveablity in creative neighbourhood Woodstock.

For Bite Me Crew I designed a innovative concept to lift the costumer experience which create more empathy and is focused on the purpose of the company.
