Nia is an advocate, leader, and lifelong learner dedicated to transforming educational environments into equitable spaces for all students and educators. Nia currently serves as a District ESS Coach, supporting over 100 educators across 12 schools. This role reflects her commitment to fostering relationships and driving impactful change in the community.Passionate about teacher development, Nia excels in public speaking, content creation, and presenting. Through the Arizona Education Association, she leads a statewide Special Education Cohort and creates valuable resources for aspiring and newly appointed coaches. Her work with the National Education Association involves designing courses that empower both general and special education teachers.As an Alumni member of the Leaders for Change fellowship, Nia hones leadership skills through workshops and discussions with civic leaders, further enhancing her ability to inspire and guide others. She also contributes to RAZE (Rural Arizona Engagement) as a Board member, bringing management and legal expertise to support the organization's mission.Nia is deeply committed to equity and inclusion, participating in the FUSD Equity Committee to create actionable plans that benefit the district. She believes in the power of leveraging diverse voices to enrich educational practices and ensure all students succeed.With a focus on innovation and collaboration, Nia is eager to connect with school districts and educational organizations seeking to elevate their programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
