The Asia Foundation is an established nonprofit that carries out a number of leadership events and tech programs collaborating with the 18 Asian country offices, SF HQ and office in Washington, DC. As the Senior Advisor, I'm responsible for managing the Foundation’s program activities in Singapore and hosting various tech innovation challenges, hackathons, future of work projects and leadership events in Singapore. Events and programs mainly focus on skills development of marginalized communities, covid response to SMBs, improving employability of youth and youth with disabilities, strengthening governance across Asia, future-of-work workshops, and organizing policy round table discussions with Think Tank experts. * I support the design & implementation of programs/capacity building workshops for civil services officers from Asian countries looking at Singapore as a model nations.* Country head for Singapore incharge of managing all key stakeholder relationships in public sector, private sector, NGO sector as well as the TAF Singapore Advisory Board. *I report to the Foundation’s Senior Vice President of Programs based in San Francisco and the Director for Leadership and Exchange (LeadEx) Programs based in Washington DC.

Give2Asia is a California based nonprofit and an intermediary vehicle that allows 15000+ US corporates, foundations & donors to donate their $ to over 2,000 NGOs across 23 APAC countries. We have been chosen as the go-to organisation for donating to COVID19 response and relief efforts across Asia. *I serve as the Country Advisor for Singapore, serving all Singapore charities and local Corporate CSR teams as their local partner and liaison to US corporate donors and funding strategies. *I serve as the local expert on Singapore charities for US donors and provide guidance on local laws and government regulations around international grantmaking. *I provide strategic insights and recommendations on the country's most pressing needs, and help identify and fill gaps via corporate giving. *I am the matchmaker of grants and funding opportunities with worthy local organizations.*I provide recommendations for strategic philanthropic decisions - choosing the right SG partner for donors to achieve the maximum impact on CSR missions and philanthropic $. * I help demystify US laws and regulations around international grantmaking to Singapore. * I conduct due diligence, and check criteria for Expenditure Responsibility or Equivalency Determination with ngosource. *I oversee & manage multi-year grants for the end-to-end duration of the grant lifecycle. *I assist with proposal & budget reviews, ensuring accountability for project outcomes, desired impact and compliance with local SG laws around fiduciary/expenditure responsibility. *I build long-lasting trusted relationships & a strong rapport with the grantees and seek to support them via multi-year grant opportunities. .For our internal Donor Engagement team and Account Managers spread across Asia and the US, I provide updates on the end-to-end grant lifecycle across grantees and facilitate sharing the impact reports and beneficiary success stories back to the donor.

It's been a great journey joining the EFSG5 cohort and working alongside other incredible founders and the EF team. I was invited to team up with cofounder Ale to create a new platform for biotech scientists, academics, and industry partners to collaborate on their research, funding opportunities and findings. EF itself is backed by some of the world’s best investors, including the founders of LinkedIn, DeepMind and PayPal and runs in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Berlin, Paris and Bangalore.

The Funding Network Australia (TFNA) is an Australian non-profit that hosts live crowd-funding events. Modelled after Shark Tank, NGOs pitch to a live audience with a fundraising goal. In 6 months of launching, we held 6 events that exceeded all revenue targets.Company Launch, Operations and Events● As COO and employee # 1, I helped launch the company in Sydney and secured licenses to fundraise in 4 States to expand the business across Australia.● I set up and managed all the internal company structures, created operating policies, guidelines and collateral.● I managed all internal functions of the business and set policies and manuals around them.● I helped prepare the NGOs for the event flow and organized their Pitch Training with the trainers.● I worked closely with our Accountant to match the funding to grantees and reported final impact to donors.

Advisary board member for this non profit organization whose mission is to provide lifeline services to survivors of domestic abuse & to make domestic violence non existent from society. Joined the Board during a financial management crisis. With the help of community leaders, the board developed a strategy for restructuring, streamlining the business and developed a turnaround plan over 12 months. I helped secure an emergency bridge loan that along with personal contributions from the Board allowed the company to stay afloat and make payroll. WOMAN Inc. has done incredibly well and after a few tough months is now once again debt free.

Served as the regional liaison, events hostess and mentor for the Maxwell School at Syracuse University for Alumni in Northern California.

Performed an array of cross-functional duties at this network automation tech company in Silicon Valley. These included: internal business operations, CRM usage and training, external stakeholder management including reseller and partner relationship management, event marketing and colatoral, UI re/design and website content, technical writing for user guides, training decks, conducted live and web software training, recruiting and legal compliance including software exportation laws, and internal liaison with software development team leads for new product development.

Devex is a Global Membership-based Social Enterprise. I was hired by the founders as the 1st full-time employee. In 3.5 years, we crossed $4M in revenue. Devex is the go to media platform for the international development ecosystem (NGOs, consulting co’s, professionals and donor organisations like the World Bank, IMF, UN, AusAid, DFIS, and ADB).● I set up the HQ in Washington DC and set up all internal systems & operations of the business in its nascent start-up stages.● I led the growth and support of our membership tiers globally. That included Member creation and support for all tiers of membership (Companies, Small Businesses and Individual Professionals). Membership was our primary revenue stream.● I was transferred to Manila to open our 1st offshore office. We hired the first 8 support staff to help me manage global ops and member support serving all timezones. As our membership grew, the offshore teams diversified & grew to 65 in Bangalore, Tokyo and Manila & I continued to manage them as the Global Membership Lead.● I worked closely with the founders and the tech team to develop and launch new services targeted at different membership audiences.● I managed all the logistics to host various networking events, annual happy hours, leader talks and luncheons,thought leaders from Donor orgs and targeted membership meet ups in Washington DC.● I managed the online content, ad slots & newsletter publishing and digital advertising revenue streams.
