New section of Business Market Intelligence Department was created to maintain the growing cargo movements database, create and update reports. I was appointed to lead a 5 person team handling these tasks.Over time responsabilities grew to include various aspects of development and implementation of custom build ERP software into the company. Some of the tasks/responsibilities my team was assigned include:• Specifying requirements for development of several modules (CRM, Operations, Reporting, Client Dashboard) and communicating to third party developers; Testing the software and managing technical implementation to business• Analyzed workflow of Statistics Department that was merged with my department and identified issues and possible improvements in the workflow. • Involved in design of Field Data Acquisition software that would feed us the information straight from the operation site (eliminating need for manual processing) • Managing Datacenter (user interface for custom made ERP software for the company comprising of CRM, Operations, Assets and Reports modules• Used Cubes to create reports based on Dynamics AX data• Created numerous reports for the management (ad-hoc and regular monthly report pack) using Excel, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Adobe InDesign, Power Point) and implemented improvements to regular reports.• Maintained the cargo movements database

Joined the recently established Business Market Intelligence Department. Main scope of work was to start gathering of data (cargo statistics, cargo movements) in order to build up the database and produce valuable reports.• Contacted with clients and other departments in order to get the data in timely fashion and to keep the data quality level as high as possible• Manual processing of the data (from paper, different digital formats)• Helped standardize different cargo categories to enable meaningful analysis• Checked the data quality

Worked on process mapping, specification of requirements and report analysis.•Familiarization with Oil and Gas Industry in general (oil exploration and production technology) and specifics of that industry in Nigeria (legal framework, government agencies). •Gained experience in Commercial Department (communication and negotiation with clients, managing contracts, familiarizing with invoicing and payments procedures, understanding of clients’ needs and adjusting to them (door to door service - adding value to clients).•Gained experience in Port operations (reading vessel manifest, communication with clients, knowledge of documentation, organization of vessel discharge and other operations, knowledge of safety procedures in workplace, familiarization with Microsoft Dynamics AX software).
