Assisted DHPD attorneys in Queens Housing Court. Conducted tenant action conferences between tenant groups and landlord corporations. Drafted consent and inquest orders. Composed legal memoranda for supervising attorneys on evidence issues.

Worked as the liaison between the Juvenile Justice Initiative and the Department of Probation. Managed caseload of 20-30 juvenile probationers suffering from mental health issues and counseled offenders on parental, academic, and mental health issues while ensuring they complied with court-mandated probation conditions. Developed and authored treatment and supervision plans to include juvenile, parental and therapist involvement.

Conducted investigations into the lives of the children and their families to assist the court in rendering decisions. Presented recommendations to the court, on the record, on behalf of the Juvenile Probation Office. Conducted interviews and facilitated sessions involving the court, the family, the state, and mental health professionals.
