Expanding my scope, I embraced the internals of the API to empower Partner integrations and enhance the SDK. My main project was integrating our new Dock Actions into Autowalk, the software framework underpinning our Industrial Inspection workflow. This work allows Partners like Ayslon to add pre and post undock and dock actions to the behaviors that Spot can utilize during an Autowalk mission. In particular for Asylon, this allowed them to not only have Spot automatically open and close the Asylon dog house during a mission, but to also have Spot robustly handle degraded communications even prompting the operator with questions I tailored for specific scenarios. This project thoroughly exercised my ability to build software on top of a purely internally built framework and generally improved my skill with behavior trees, state machines, and gRPC. In my second major project, I worked closely with Levatas towards a Boston Dynamics certification of their revised analog gauge reading and new sight glass CV/ML models. Gauge reading was a continuous success, but sight glass required an iterative feedback cycle to improve the model's performance beyond customer satisfaction. After internally verifying the models exceeded customer expectations, I developed a rollout plan for our Field Team to update operational customers and freshly install to new customers the latest Levatas software. Furthermore, I personally deployed to Kimberly Clark, and initiated deployments with International Paper and BASF Jackson. In addition, I supported our engineers in the field with their deployments at sites like Texas Instruments. Following up on thousands of inspections I analyzed to certify the CV/ML models, I created a network compute bridge worker tester, including the addition of a new worker compute client to our API, for more rapid CV/ML future development. Besides those projects, I added a BlockUntilSE2Trajectory command to our API and explored ZeroTrust domains in Spot app.

For my main project I worked closely with Chevron rotating equipment engineers in tandem with engineers from RDI to integrate RDI's visual vibrometry payload, the Iris Explorer, into Boston Dynamic's Enterprise Asset Management (Industrial Inspection) workflow. In particular, I was instrumental in moving RDI's two tablet workflow onto our single Spot tablet drastically improving Chevron's experience with the payload. Furthermore, I made these vibrometry inspections accessible by piping the Motion Amplified videos, spectra, and waveforms to Orbit, our fleet management software. Throughout this project I met and overcame or found workarounds to limitations in our API, the primary two examples being the addition of Regions of Interest into our Image Service and generally advising on how to utilize "key_results" and daq to send data to Orbit. The customer, Chevron, the partner, RDI, and my employer Boston Dynamics were more than satisfied with the results of my efforts. Most of all, they praised the greater ease of use with a single tablet workflow and how the integration made great use of Spot's autonomous capabilities as well as Boston Dynamic's Industrial Inspection workflow. In addition to visual vibrometry, I worked with the European Logistics Partners towards a proof of concept to use Spot for the Dutch Ministry of Defense's Explosive Ordinance Disposal aka the bomb squad. I advised on how to immediately enable features like position locking and aiming that were later fully incorporated into our product. The proof of concept was an astounding success. Even without the new features, Spot did an amazing job handling the disruptors (water jets) used to defuse the bombs. Other work included:-Controlling Spot in AR-Hosting a Persistent Systems Field Engineer in preparation for Shot Show (Spot App on a Rugged Display Controller and sharing SpotCam feed over PS Radio)-Enabling simultaneous display of multiple signals sources on Spot app for Partners like RADeCO
