As an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida, I conduct translational research on the molecular epidemiology of tuberculosis, with a focus on global health and health disparities. I have over seven years of experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing epidemiological studies, using various methods and tools to generate and disseminate evidence-based insights and recommendations.I also teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral fellows, in the field of epidemiology and public health. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of epidemiology and contributing to the prevention and control of infectious diseases. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented my findings at national and international conferences.
