Reporting to our Global VP of HR, I lead a team of ~8 HR professionals spanning multiple functions including Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Onboarding, Compliance, HRIS, and Office Management. • Created our 'Grow with Copperleaf' program, a multi-prong intiative focused on learning opportunities and professional development for our employees. Through this program, we provided over $200,000 in professional development funding for over 30 employees, launched LinkedIn Learning, piloted leadership training, and implemented Lattice across Copperleaf.• Led the global annual compensation processes for ~450 employees in ~15 different countries, including benchmarking, budgeting, company-wide communications, and executive presentations. • Supported sales compensation process in collaboration with the business operations team, including design of rates/policies, pay mix, and MBOs.• Implemented a people analytics function within the Copperleaf HR team and led the creation of PowerBI dashboards to track metrics involving turnover, headcount, recruitment, and DEI. These dashboards are used by our HR Business Partner team to drive better decision making.• Led HR due diligence during IFS' acquisition of Copperleaf in 2024, and currently leading HR integration from an M&A perspective.

In this role, I:• Provide leadership and mentorship to ten people across the DevOps and Automated Test teams.• Manage a multi-million dollar budget for PD, including prioritization and approval of headcount, technology stack acquisitions, infrastructure and hosting, and professional development funding. During my leadership, the PD department grew by over 40%, from 112 to 160 full-time employees.• Collaborate with the Employee Experience team on a variety of operational areas including offer discussions, DE&I initiatives, HR issue resolution, recruitment, and improvements to our co-op program. • Created and socialized a new mandate for the Automated Test team where they now serve as an enabling team across product development (PD) to provide reliable and scalable automation infrastructure.• Led the creation of competency matrices across PD for team leads, software developers, QA analysts, software-developers-in-test, and DevOps. These competency matrices are widely used in PD to inform job level changes and to inform growth opportunities for employees. • Co-led the implementation and adoption of Lattice with PD, which is a people management tool. This enabled PD to create professional development plans that leveraged the competency matrices. Over 50% of people in PD now have a growth plan through this initiative. • Analyzed market compensation data and internal compensation data to inform the budget and strategy process for the end-of-year compensation process.

As a Product Manager, I built and shipped a new module for Copperleaf’s flagship product, C55. AMBiT Consulting was a Vancouver-based management consulting firm focused on providing project management, change management, and business analysis services to higher education and public sector organizations. During my time with AMBiT, I:• managed the technology implementations into ~50 academic and clinical spaces at 15 different hospital sites across British Columbia. Project budgets ranged from $25,000 to $2.3 million.• managed the deployment of custom web-conferencing software to UBC Faculty of Medicine departments, and developed supporting processes to transition the service to operations. • directed cross-functional teams of 4-12 people through project planning, execution, and completion. • developed and updated project plans and associated documentation, including work breakdown structures, risk registers, issue logs, communications plans, and cost-tracking systems. • oversaw development of functional requirements and design specifications as an owner’s representative.• managed procurement of contractors and equipment, including development of request-for-proposals, evaluation of responses, negotiating agreements, and reviewing on-site progress.
