Leading the Cloud migration project for one of the renowned Client Canadian Bank CIBC. Working on complete end to end migration including the Database migration, application migration from on-premises to Microsoft Azure. The duties performed includes:-1.) Migrating Oracle 10g database to Azure SQL Database. Optimizing the databaseconsumption and pricing by leveraging Elastic pools.2.) Ensuring complete migration of schemas and data to Azure SQL Database.3.) Performing the mapping of SQL users to Azure SQL and configuring the whole firewall in Azure SQL Server.4.) Providing Disaster Recovery (DR) by leveraging Active-Passive Geo Replications in Azure SQL.5.) Migrating in house .Net framework application to Azure platform using ASE and leveraging the application insights in the project.6.) Moving the existing SSIS jobs to Azure using Azure Data Factory.

Working as a Contractor for different banking clients like BMO, CIBC.

1.) Managed the Database Warehouse Project which holds the reconciliation details of various accounts to report exceptions.2.) Vast experience on Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) strategy, design and implementation. Includes ETL across different platforms, SQL, Oracle databases and flat files.3.) Participated in providing the project estimates for development team efforts for the offshore as well as on-site.4.) Coordinated and monitored the project progress to ensure the timely flow and complete delivery of the project.5.) Coordinates and documents the project's lessons learned.6.) Implemented the partition of large tables in databases to improve the performance of the retrieval process of data.7.) Evaluate and monitor execution plans, query plans, key lookup operators for all troubled code.8.) Migrated various database from on-premises SQL server 2012 to Azure SQL Database.

Was working on Thomson Reuters account. Movement to TCS was strategic decision by the management that we adhered. Kept working on the Thomson Reuters related projects.

• Business requires daily reports which derives the variable pay for sales reps and reports to Sales management team. We gathered requirements from stakeholders and prepared the high level and low level design document. Implemented the business functionality via database design, SQL Stored Procedures etc. Also implemented business logic in the Web App via C# and ASP.Net development. Developed various reports and schedules using SSRS. Fixed defects if any were reported in older system. Also Tuned the SQL queries using SQL profiler. This increased efficiency and enhanced the day to day process for the sales team with increased access to reports. Team reported 40% increase in efficiency. • Implemented Incentive Compensation solution for the organization in “IBM Cognos ICM” aka Varicent. Enabled organizations to automate the process of administering, calculating, reporting, and analyzing Variable-based pay programs. The solution simplified incentive compensation management for organizations by increasing accuracy, reducing costs, and improving visibility into sales performance and compensation plans. It provides the complete picture of payees earned commissions, bonus through charts/gauges.• Business users wanted to leverage the Inquiries feature of Varicent 8.0 such as changing the status, or category of an inquiry from Audit log. Developed couple of presenter reports and designed workflows which provided the information about inquiries raised by users.• Business users wanted to obsolete the old legacy BizTalk server applications into SSIS packages. Implemented ETL process from design to deployment using SQL Server Integrations services which act as source for web services and feed into different sources.

• An internal portal was proposed for sharing appreciations amongst employees. Designed and developed the portal in ASP.Net. This web application was used by more than 42000 users in under 2 weeks. Web Application provided quick response time with usage of AJAX and scheduled reporting on database with automated email alerts for the stakeholders. This fostered a positive culture in the organization.• An organization required a web portal to integrate various retail departments and increase collaboration between units. Developed web portal in SharePoint 2010 with complete customizations of the site via custom web parts, SharePoint Designer and custom CSS. This portal increased collaboration by 40%.
