Nader Shenouda is an experienced and innovative managing partner and entrepreneur with over two decades of investment experience across global financial services and asset classes. He has a demonstrated track record in blue-chip financial organizations building successful businesses, originating, fundraising, and closing deals in venture capital, private equity, and real estate. Nader has comprehensive and localized knowledge of both the MENA region and global markets, including Silicon Valley, and has a trusted reputation in fund raising from private and institutional investors. In 2014 he founded Canas Capital, a successful, independent investment advisory firm specializing in alternative investments. Canas Capital is based in the UAE and is backed by a global network of financial and strategic investors and partners. Having initially worked in private banking in the City of London, Nader’s career has diversified into global private equity and venture capital including a focus on multi-stage technology. Nader has sat on a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards including The Prince of Wales’ Foundation School of Traditional Arts and at Panmure Gordon & Co, a UK listed investment bank. Nader holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and he studied Investment Management at the London Business School and Fintech specialisms at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
