Nsiimire Peter obtained Environmental Science Degree of Makerere University in 2009, Msc. Geo-information Science and Technology of Makerere University, NEBOSH International General Certificate of Occupational Health and Safety and a Postgraduate Dip. Information Technology of Amity University India. Mr. Nsiimire is a Managing Director of EnviroSpatio Consult Limited and also works as a Research/ Teaching Assistant at Makerere University Department of Environment Management- GIS Unit since 2009. Peter was a GIS & Remote sensing Teaching Assistant at Ndejje University School of Post Graduates Studies from 2013 to 2015. Mr. Nsiimire has worked for Governmental and Private Organizations mainly on consultancy terms as an Environmentalist and GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist. Peter is a National Risk Consultant for UNDP and OPM on the Development of the National Disaster Atlas of Uganda. Mr. Nsiimire was a National Consultant (Uganda) for NBI on the Projection of Municipal and Industrial Water demands for the Nile Basin. He has worked with Eco & Partner Consult Ltd for Oil companies (Total E&P Uganda, Tullow Oil Uganda, CNOOC Uganda, Oranto Petroleum) to map proposed oil & gas wells, Seismic, and Pipeline in Uganda. Peter worked on ESIAs for Proposed Kingfisher, Tilenga and EACOP projects; ESIAs for Proposed Kiba, Ayago, Achwa HPP1, Achwa HPP2, Nkusi SHP, Siti HPP1 Hydro-power plants. Mr. Nsiimire is now monitoring a REA project: Construction of Medium Voltage Networks, Installation of Distribution Transformers and the Associated Low Voltage Networks in Various Regions of the Country Lot 1- Mubende, Mityana, Kabarole and Kyegegwa Districts. Peter mapped water demand and projections for Lake Albert basin, Lake George-Edward Basin, River Kafu Basin, State of Lake Victoria Basin for Directorate of Water Resources Management (DWRM) - MWE. Peter mapped aquaculture park site-suitability for National Fisheries Resource Research Institute (NAFFIRRI). He mapped Productive Infrastructure for AVSI and CARITAS for EU funded BUILD Project. Peter mapped EC WASH facilities for NETWAS. Peter was GIS Analyst on the project: The 2011 Multiparty Elections in Uganda: Towards a Consolidated Democracy?” as part of the Deepening Democracy Programme (DDP) undertaken by French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA).
