Brought on to build automation using Ansible and CloudFormation to manage AutoScaling Groups, Launch Configs, Subnets, Security Groups, VPC, etc.Managed blue/green deployments for multitier Auto Scaling Groups of platform and administration tier fleets using Ansible/CloudFormation.Architected Large Scale Logging infrastructure in Ansible/CloudFormation to build Graylog, Clustered MongoDB, Java, AWS Elasticsearch, Kibana & FluentD with log data generated in GELF format and getting archived to S3 for SOC2 compliance. Design included VPC, AutoScaling, High Availability, External & Internal ELBs for UI over HTTPS and log ingestion.Scripted Apache Airflow architecture in Ansible/CloudFormation to build scalable job service over HTTPS.Revamped Elasticsearch Ansible/CloudFormation to upgrade version from 1.2 to 6.0 and move storage from EBS to ephemeral drives with XFS for improved performance.Maintained Kafka/Zookeeper streaming message system in production pipeline.Minimized Production RDS downtime by creating writable replicas, stopping replication, running table locking SQL there, letting replication catch up, promoting to standalone master and then RDS rename.Configured GELF driver in Ansible automation for use by ecs-agent to allow Docker containers outputting to STDOUT to push logs into Graylog architecture.

Managed multi-tier infrastructure for 5 separate environments in AWS with all related AWS technologies. Micro services tiers running Dockerized containers on ECR/ECS with dynamic port mapping, ALBs and AutoScaling. Responsible for build/release process using CI in Jenkins & CodeDeploy. Responsible for full stack of production environment, monitoring & third party integrations (prerender.io, Incapsula, ExactTarget, Skyvia, SauceLabs, etc). Developed and maintained OO PageObject design of Java-based automation suite using Selenium WebDriver which executes test pipelines automatically on a nightly basis in SauceLabs Cloud.
