Current- Install, configure, and commission various field instruments, including pressure, flow, level, and temperature transmitters, as well as sensors, heat detectors (Thermocouples, RTDs, and LHDs), and gauges.- Ensure proper wiring and signal integrity, integrating instruments with control systems (PLC/DCS).- Perform regular calibration of instruments using advanced tools like HART Field Communicator, Druck DPI Pressure Calibrator, Temperature Bath, and voltmeters.- Conduct preventive maintenance and promptly address any instrument-related issues to minimize downtime.- Calibrate and replace positioners for control and shutdown valves, ensuring precise operation.- Utilize specialized equipment to fine-tune valve response and control accuracy.- Conduct in-depth functional tests and regular maintenance of fire and gas detection systems, including smoke detectors, sirens, sounders, and local fire alarm panels.- Replace and service defective components to maintain optimal safety standards.- Diagnose and repair faulty instruments using hand tools and precision equipment.- Resolve complex instrumentation issues by interpreting P&IDs, PEFS, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and OEM manuals.- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify areas for system improvement and implement upgrades to enhance performance and reliability.- Maintain detailed documentation of all activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
