Key Responsibilities- Co-founded subsidiary- Responsible for division goal setting, executing to budget, financial model maintenance and revision, and supporting strategy and data analysis for all department pillars- Manage staff of 4 direct reports and 40 incremental subordinates across 5 verticals (Imports Clearing & Logistics, Production & Warehousing, Technical Team, Stores & Service, Strategy Team)Selected Accomplishments- As Operations Lead, built Mozambique operations department in 2.5 months, achieving launch of the subsidiary against an aggressive market entry timeline. As a result, we grew revenues to $1M in first 6 months and operations platform can now support $1M in monthly revenues- Led aggressive expansion of service centers - 22 locations <1 year – across 5 provinces and 3000km in a country with poor infrastructure and complex bureaucracy- Revamped sales team training to adapt the business to the wide geographic distribution of the country by launching an apprenticeship style program with virtual learning and centralized testing.
