Software Engineer
Member of team developing WebCV, a no/low-code web application and software platform for data visualization and analysis, developed under contract between CACI and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).Enhancing and developing new client-side libraries for use in WebCV to expose individual components for use by end-users when configuring their visualizations such as configurable tables, bar graphs, force-directed layouts, 3d surface graphs, map/GIS displays, etc.Enhancements related to Node-RED integration used to expose a UI and design-pattern for data-flow configurations such as allowing users to dynamically define REST endpoints, data access (csv, flat files, SQL data connections, etc.), data transforms (sorting, joins, filters, etc.), message routing within a request in-flow, as well as exposing the ability to define functional blocks in JavaScript to have those parsed within flow.Enhancements to Node-RED backend regarding dynamic node & edge graph data rendering and path calculation algorithms with respect to established graph theory overlayed with AFRL-specific needs. Developed an internal algorithm to iterate supplied node & edge relationships to determine all possible paths between nodes supporting optional criteria (start and end node) as well as allowing user to tune performance/stability params (max iterations, max depth to traverse, max path length).Mentorship of junior/entry-level developers.
