As a Program Director and trainer, I am responsible for strategic direction of the organization, including partnership management, fundraising, reporting and development of programs. The organisation has impacted over 1500 smallholder farmers – raised over 80,000 USD in grants and won several several awards including the Lush’s Spring Prize in 2019, SEED Africa Entrepreneurs Award in 2016, East African Agribusiness Award in 2016 and the Tony Elumelu Fellowship Award in 2018. To date, the organization continues to implement bundled regenerative farming services for smallholder farmer in Uganda.

The Learn for Agribusiness project was implemented in Northern Uganda in partnership with Edukans and Heifer International Uganda; targeting 3200 youths. As a Skills Expert, I conducted Labor Market Assessment that informed program priority areas, developed program plans and monitoring frameworks as well as setting up an initial project team comprising of over 30 field officers.

GiveDirectly implements an ICT enabled Cash transfer project in Uganda. Every year, the project transfers ~7 million USD across selected districts in Uganda. As a Program Manager I was responsible for the overall enrollment process, including activity planning, budgeting, program evaluation and donor reporting; achieving targets; team hiring and professional development; and identifying opportunities for risk mitigation and process improvement. Worked with key donors such as UNHCR, DFID, IKEA and other local stakeholders like government officials

Fenix International (now Engie Energy Access) is a venture-funded next-generation energy company expertise in renewable energy, mobile finance, and last-mile sales, marketing, distribution and customer service. At Fenix, I pioneered a Customer Field Representative section that conducted field customer visits, data collection and technical troubleshooting. I developed Customer Field Representative Strategy, work flows and hired a team of nine initial customer field representatives that would later turn into a key Payments Recovery Department at the Company.

At Grameen, I successfully coordinated implementation of farmer volunteer recruitment, training and performance monitoring activities for the CKW Initiative, a mobile phone-based agricultural information dissemination project, across 47 Ugandan districts, and In Cote d’ivoire and Kenya. Led replication of project activities in Cote d’Ivoire. I successfully led project replication in Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire – and enabled over 128,000 smallholder farmers access actionable agricultural information that improved their farm productivity by over 40%.
