The mission of Mavro Provato (Black Sheep) is to highlight the possibilities for sustainable recreation that Greece's natural environment has to offer, by promoting and showcasing recreational activities that take place in a natural environment, particularly in mountainous areas, through high-level sporting events and outdoors activities.We take an active role trying to engage local stakeholders and help them with capacity building, create lasting and productive partnerships, support regional governance in decision making, and serve as a think tank and industry expert at a regional and national level.

Pierra Creta is a ski mountaineering race held in the mountains of Crete. It was organized for the first time in March 2014. It aims to promote ski mountaineering in our country and inspire more people to engage with it. It pursuits to make ski mountaineering, known to people of Crete and to show to others already involved, -Greeks and people abroad- that Crete is a place for it.

A long and exciting journey...For more than 10years, I was a proud member and leader of icon-team! One of the most remarkable automation & digital transformation teams out there.We designed and built numerous information systems. We improved and effectively redesign many internal processes and lead important OSS/BSS related projects working together with various internal teams and major company's sub-contractors like Accenture, Intrasoft, Cognity, and more. We helped shifting mindsets and helped other teams to evolve. We were the first team to introduce agile methodologies in OTE back in 2008 and the first DevOps style operating team in the group (4years before the term was coined). Over half of the projects we engaged, were proposed, designed, and implemented by us. We were the first in OTE and Deutsche Telekom group to apply system-thinking methodologies in software design and combine systemic framework with a software design support framework. It was a breakthrough in 2008 and lead to a best-in-class TDM inventory system for OTE and much more ever since.Our latest accomplishment in 2019 was, participating and winning T-Mobile Czech & Slovak Telekom RFP for NOC Automation. A joint effort with Elisa Automate that we were proud of succeeding after competing with players like NOKIA, HP, Huawei, and many more.

Responsible to expand the business and tackle creatively and with limited resources a number of specific issues that our subsidiary there was facing. I engaged after a short and intense training period through literally all departments of our parent company. HR functions, interviews, recruiting, compensation packages drafting, logistics, transportation, warehouse organization, assembly line, accounting, finance, marketing, store management, sales, and many more! One of the greatest and most important schools in my business life... Mission's objective was to adjust and support the plan for breakeven. Reduce the extremely high turnover the subsidiary was facing, due to intense job offerings competition from tech giants like Microsoft, HP, SAP, and Oracle that were moving big parts of their businesses in Sofia at the time.Transform the culture, mindset, and attitude of the employees to a more customer-centric and customer-first position. Find and recruit a local for our store manager position and provide him coaching, mentoring, and capacity building. Restructure the B2B department and help build a successful and winning B2B team.During my time there, I was also responsible for commercial negotiations with big B2B clients and I handled the project planning and project management for a number of contracts including projects on behalf of the Greek Embassy in Bulgaria and Bulgaria's Defence Ministry.

I entered the company as a Product Manager for computers and high-tech products BUT with a more important side role... I would serve as a system thinker practitioner analyzing the organizational structure and company practices under this new (for Greece at the time) approach of systems thinking, in order to help senior management in coping and responding to complex situations with creative and effective ways while accomplishing the founder's vision of making Plaisio a robust, efficient and responsible company that would set an example in and over national borders.

Training duties: conventional military explosives (TNT, C4 eg.), improvised explosive devices and booby traps. Technical climbing and rope usage for overcoming obstacles. Administrative duties: food supply manager for the squadron and payroll management for the non-permanent personnel. Current rank: Captain

Staff, supplies, operation, representation, public relations, and responsible for negotiating with music agents for concerts & events. Proud of hosting concerts of the most popular Greek performers and bands of that time, including Alkinoos Ioannidis, Sokratis Malamas, Nikos Portokaloglou, Melina Kana, and many others.

A year-round project to help the most respected newspaper of the city transition to the CMYK color printing process. Despite my young age I was recommended by the Apple Computer representative in Crete to participate due to my proven extensive knowledge on Macintosh platform and desktop publishing. I worked together with a color offset-press specialist, assigned to the project by Lambrakis Press Group (DOL). We had to align the entire production pipeline from input and monitors, to proof printing and final press printing. I was responsible for aligning color profiles and the entire digital production pipeline and assist in offset press calibration. Also, I was responsible for training them to color image processing and color printing.
