As a contract GIS Analyst for the Everett Community Planning & Transit Authority, I worked on a project to study the existing pedestrian network in Snohomish County, WA. The project involved classifying existing sidewalks, bike lanes, curbs heights for wheel chair access, and areas with narrow medians. The final deliverable was a digitized pedestrian network attributed with collected field classifications and map series identifying specific areas of concern. The maps presented to the planning commission to support funding targeted capital improvement projects.
