I also manage any and all correspondence with the SEC and external auditors.• Audit support: Acted as the liaison between the company and auditors facilitating the entire audit and review process. Assisted in delivering all requests and educating the company’s staff on execution of deliverables.• Technical accounting: Responsible for identifying unusual, infrequent or complex issues and assessing and concluding on accounting implications to the company. Findings are regularly communicated to the board of directors and executive management. • SOX compliance: Executed the entire process and spearheaded control rationalization exercises and 2013 COSO transition. Evaluated control framework and documented testing conclusions while fulfilling auditor requirements.
