After completing my double majors in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Information Science, I pursued further studies to advance my career in Computer Science and Information Technology; I have completed my honors degree in 2013 with software engineering joint major. I am seeking employment in the areas of Software Development/Testing, Web Development, Enterprise Mobile Application Development and Database Management. In my year of studies I have developed skills in particular areas and have applied them to projects such as developing an employee tax calculator which involved calculating P.A.Y.E tax, deductions, etc. A Stock Management software was also need to keep track of which movies and games which were coming in along with payment of each item batch based on a date/calendars and databases. A Revenue Manager was also created to keep track of daily revenue along with employee reports based on dates which can be easily retrieved using the calendar GUI. These software programs were designed for Video Ezy West Harbour. During my final year of undergraduate studies I engaged in a group project which developed a digital tour guide mobile app based on small self-contained desktop created. I was charged with creating the desktop software application which lets the client create a digital tour guide package which is packaged and uploaded to a server and can be deployed to a mobile device by getting a link from reading a QR Code. This included a way to create a webpage for each location and package without actual coding at all (similar to a word document). I have also been part of a charitable organization and apart from helping them with events I also created their first website which helped them to capture an international ordinance (fofhf.org.nz). During my studies at Massey University in 2009 I was Pacific Island student’s representative at Albany Students Association which helped to represent Pacific Island students a tertiary level and also at a national level.
