About Nicoleta Tantalaki

I am a research scientist at the Data and Web Science Lab of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. Right now, I am exploring the Machine Learning field, studying bias in ML-based systems and investigating the possibilities of creating systems that are shaped by diverse viewpoints, and contribute to justice and equity.During my PhD, I worked on solving mysteries in the world of Big Data, studying algorithms for parallel and distributed processing with special emphasis on real-time stream processing.
