The Next Gen-K at Katalon is an advanced internship program, that empowers top Vietnamese students for success in the Artificial Intelligence era.During my 6 months working here as an intern, I have been involved in strengthening cybersecurity measures, my responsibilities at Katalon have expanded to: • Assisting in integrating and operating cloud security tools (Wiz, Prowler, AWS GuardDuty) to periodically scan for security vulnerabilities and misconfiguration following best practices. • Conducting vulnerability analysis to assess the level of risk, aiding in troubleshooting, and investigating issues. • Utilizing JSM, Jira, and Zendesk tools for issue tracking and collaborating with relevant parties for resolution. • Supporting the drafting and documentation of incident handling procedures (Incident Response Playbook). • Monitoring security events from Endpoint Detection and Response tools (Crowdstrike Falcon). • Collaborating with the investigation of issues and alerts related to SecOps responsibilities, including cloud infrastructure, network, and endpoint security.
