Hopelink is a great organization, with a goal of helping people exit poverty. The management team, lead by Lauren Thomas, is experienced and dedicated. I oversee the finance department in charge of processing AP, payroll, AR, cash receipts and grant compliance. I have gained additional experience in management, audit, 990 tax prep and budgeting. I've had the opportunity to improve many processes primarily using advanced excel to simplify tasks. Hopelink Finance partnered with Levorsuite to implement a new budget program that I was lead on. It was a very successful project and well received by the users.

I worked several positions at Swedish Health Services. The last one was in the Swedish Research Center. Prior to this I was a Senior Decision Support Analyst primarily doing costing, providing budget analysis and support, and calculating the monthly reserves. And before that I was a lead in the finance department where I did the financial statement consolidation and analysis and oversaw the research and foundation accounting including the A-133 audit. One of my biggest accomplishments at Swedish has been to automate various reports resulting in hours of increased productivity for several employees every month.

Facilities Services Inc was a family owned commercial construction company with $1 million in annual sales. I set up all accounting procedures and oversaw accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and payroll taxes, B&O taxes, insurance audits, lien filings, prevailing wage and federal Davis Bacon compliance. Supervised one employee.
