Experienced GIS and Data Analyst with a background in urban planning. My role on any given project is fundamentally about facilitating communication between all of its parts. I bring together my skills for data collection/synthesis with my skills for visualization to connect the various domain knowledges of my coworkers and clients. I work on a wide variety of projects with diverse teams and team structures and have the experience to hit the ground running, lead meetings and know what information I need to start providing value to the team.I regularly work on projects ranging from Offshore Wind Energy siting to transportation planning to environmental permitting to managing information flows and conditions modeling for ongoing sewer network rehabilitation. I pull together and clean data from all kinds of sources, from spreadsheets to REST APIs to SQL databases. I use ArcGIS, QGIS, python scripts, and excel to clean and synthesize that data. I generate interactive web apps, maps, and graphics to make that data accessible and clear, and maintain information flow between all aspects of the project.My goal is to continue orienting my career toward projects that revolve around getting things built or planning for more sustainable infrastructure. I also intend to continue developing my capacity for building python scripts/tools and using other coding tools to further automate and improve information flows.I graduated from the George Washington University, in 2015, with a BA in Political Science; focused mainly on American political history and institutions. I obtained a Masters’ Degree of Community and Regional Planning (MCRP) in 2018 from the Bloustein School at Rutgers University. My graduate work focused on urban redevelopment and public financing, design, GIS, historic preservation, and zoning.
