A position normally reserved for much senior Petty Officers, I was designated 1 of 2 command Authorizing Officials for the defense Travel System as well as an Agency Program Coordinator for the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC). I monitored GTCC delinquency reports. Also assigned as a Navy Reserve Order Writing Specialist for funding, hard hold and related issues, which often included managing travel itinerary modifications. + Maintain incoming and outgoing mail as well as completing monthly mail meter machine reports.

+ Team Leader. Assisted in the safe handling, loading and expenditure of over 290,000 lbs. of live/inert ordnance, to include two highly successful missile shoots during deployments. + Training Petty Officer. Expertly trained and supervised over seventeen members in the safe handling, loading/unloading of all F/A-18E ordnance and weapons systems, greatly enhancing work center efficiency. + Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on F/A-18E aircraft, completing essential services and other maintenance related as directed to support the daily Flight Schedule. + Performed daily and turnaround inspections per the Maintenance Instruction Manuals and directives as well as assist flight crew in preparations for flight.
