I hold a junior degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Law (PPL) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, as well as an Honours Degree in Public Policy and Development from the same university.Presently, I serve as the Communications & Stakeholders Relations Manager at the Council on Higher Education (CHE), located within the CEO's Office in Pretoria. My responsibilities encompass various aspects, including Communications, Advocacy, Public Relations, Brand Management, Website Content Management, Media Liaison, Social Media Management, and coordinating communication with the higher education sector (both public and private).In the past, I have been involved in several significant projects, such as the Four Year LLB Curriculum Review Project, SA Higher Education Performance Indicators, University Central Application System Background Research, Profiling South African Public Universities for University Audits, 20 Year Review of South African Higher Education, ICTs in South African Public Higher Education Institutions, Kagisano Journal Publication, Reflections of South African Student Leaders from 1994 to 2017, as well as organizing and presenting at the CHE Quality Promotion Conferences in 2019 and 2020.Furthermore, I hold committee memberships in various capacities, including being a DHET Research Committee Member, a member of the Advocacy and Communication CEO Sub-Committee, the Council on Higher Education (CHE) Association of African Universities (AAU) Desk Officer, DHET Research Colloquium Committee Social Media Manager, CHE ICT Operational Committee member, Association of African Universities (AAU) Desk Secretary, and a Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) Steering Committee Member.
