As an apprenticeship assistant at Seetec, I pre-vet all the candidates that have applied for our vacancies via telephone. Once we have done the telephone interview , we invite the candidates down to our assessment day .This is were we go through apprenticeships and what they are about, interview skills and techniques, CV writing and the current vacancies available. We then try and place candidates into placements, by arranging interviews for them with employers.I have also done cold calls to companies in the North West to promote apprenticeships and training their current members onto NVQ/QCF qualifications.

First of all I started out as a Business Admin Apprentice, then I was taken on as a full time member of staff .I then moved onto uploading vacancies onto the Apprenticeship website and spoke with the candidates that applied for the positions. I dealt with employers with regards to their vacancies and health and safeties.I also spoke with companies to see if they were interested in taking on apprentices or wanting their staff to be signed up onto qualifications. I also helped out with covering the reception desk.
